About Us

Revive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to:
revival of following the religion | إحياء اتباع الدين
success in both abodes | الفوز في الدارين
The aim is to empower Muslims to lead purpose-driven lives and achieve success in the Dunya and Akhirah. We will minimize passiveness, pessimism, and the prioritization of non-Islamic morals and values, replacing them with Islam as the lens of prosperity and progress.

Why Revive

In today's world, many Muslims have fallen into a pattern of passivity, focusing solely on material success while disconnecting from their Islamic values and greater purpose. During the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions, Muslims exemplified how faith and action worked in perfect harmony. This spirit of excellence continued through the Islamic Golden Age, where Muslims led groundbreaking advances while viewing their work as a form of worship and a means to benefit humanity. However, we've now become reactive instead of proactive, chasing worldly metrics while neglecting our true purpose.
Allah reminds us in Surah Al-Mu'minun, "Did you think that We had created you without purpose, and that you would never be returned to Us?" (23:115). This ayah establishes the foundation of Revive's mission - to help Muslims recognize that every aspect of their lives must align with their divine purpose.  When we understand that we were created with purpose, our education, careers, relationships, and daily actions become opportunities to fulfill that purpose and prepare for our return to Allah.
We don't just enhance our own success by centering our faith- we redefine success as earning the pleasure of Allah through following His commands and benefiting His creation. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that "the best of people are those who are most beneficial to people". Every Muslim possesses unique skills that can serve our Ummah and create positive change. Viewing our professional pursuits through the lens of benefiting the ummah transforms our ordinary work into extraordinary impact. Together, we can revive the spirit of collective success that characterized our greatest generations.
Our mission is to empower the ummah by transforming individual success into collective progress, using Islam as our guiding light in all endeavors. As Mumineen, our measures of success aren't limited to the metrics of this world. Instead, by acting with purpose, striving for real success, and working with unity, we can revive (ihya) a spirit of excellence.
